Manchester United and Liverpool were kept apart in the draw for the semi-finals of the EFL Cup.
United beat West Ham 4-1 on Wednesday night to complete the semi-final line-up and they will take on Hull City, a club managed by their long-time former assistant manager Mike Phelan, over two legs early next year.
Chelsea have hired a law firm to conduct an investigation into an individual, who is now deceased, employed by the club during the 1970s.
The news comes as eight police forces are now looking into allegations of historical abuse in football, in what Football Association chairman Greg Clarke describes as "the biggest crisis" he has ever seen face the game.
There have been 250 reports made to police and more than 50 calls were made to an NSPCC hotline set up for sexual abuse victims in football in the initial hours of opening.
A statement from Chelsea on Tuesday said: "Chelsea Football Club has retained an external law firm to carry out an investigation concerning an individual employed by the club in the 1970s, who is now deceased.
"The club has also contacted The FA to ensure that all possible assistance is provided as part of their wider investigation.
"This will include providing The FA with any relevant information arising out of the club's investigation.
"The FA has commissioned a dedicated NSPCC helpline for adults who were victims of sexual abuse in childhood within the football industry. The helpline is available 24 hours a day on 0800 023 2642.
"While the club's investigation is ongoing, we will make no further comment on this matter."
Police Scotland is the latest force to confirm it is looking into allegations following claims of sexual abuse by former players, as the FA begins an internal review.
The Metropolitan, Staffordshire, Greater Manchester, Hampshire, Cheshire and Northumbria police forces are also investigating reports of abuse.
The 30-year-old was in good spirits as his closest friends, parents and sports stars paraded down the red carpet ahead of the world premiere of the movie 'I Am Bolt' at the Leicester Square Odeon, in central London.
Asked whether he had been approached by the Manchester United boss, Bolt joked: "Hopefully, not yet. Hopefully he'll call me and see what's going on. I'm really excited about that."
Speaking about his plans to retire from the track at next year's World Championships in London next year, he said: "It's big. London is a place where I get a lot of love. It's the right place for me to retire."
'I Am Bolt' follows the peaks and the pits of the athlete's career, from his first race up to his 'triple triple' Rio de Janeiro victory. Fans will get a deeper look into the the setbacks behind Bolt's unrivalled success.
Directors Benjamin Turner and Gabe Turner both relished working with Bolt.
"It was great fun," said Benjamin Turner. "He was amazing to hang out with - we got to do some amazing things."
Gabe turner added: "We were told very early that if we tried to work with him as a work colleague, it's not going to fly. It was one of those jobs where we'd say to our wives 'we're going to Jamaica to hang out for a couple of weeks'. It was joyous."
Gareth Southgate is the right man for the England job because of his special relationship with the players, according to Michail Antonio.
Antonio was included in Southgate's first England squad for games against Malta and Slovenia in October and the West Ham midfielder was impressed with the interim boss.
The 46-year-old spent three and a half years with England U21s and oversaw two wins and two draws from his four matches in temporary charge.
"I feel he does look like the right man for the job," Antonio said. "He's young enough to bond with the boys and he's got a relationship with quite a few of the boys through the U21s.
"We haven't had that for the last few years, someone who is young, who has actually got a relationship with the boys before he's met them so he knows what to do with them, and it shows because he's doing well.
"The 2-2 draw with Spain, people say it's a friendly and they didn't turn it on, but Spain are still a quality team."
Some have questioned Southgate's experience in motivating top players but Antonio insists the former Middlesbrough manager has all the right attributes.
"I'd say he's a great tactician," Antonio said. "He wants us to play and the way he trusts the players, he believes the boys can do it, that they are good enough to do it.
"To play for England you have to be quality so it's just about working out the kinks and making the players believe in themselves and have the confidence to play.
"He knows all the players. You can't be around players and not know what makes them tick. That's the difference between him and other managers.
Antonio has scored six goals this season and believes that if he keeps his form then more England caps will come, and said he would have the faith of Southgate.
"I've only spoken to him the one time I wasn't in the squad," Antonio said.
"He just said I wasn't in it, that players were back from injury but that if anyone got injured he wouldn't hesitate to give me a call.
"I know it's about working hard and playing well enough in the Premier League that it makes it difficult not to choose me."
A BBC reporter has been released after she was detained amid Turkey's sweeping crackdown following this summer's failed coup.
BBC Turkish reports that correspondent Hatice Kamer was detained Saturday while on assignment to cover a recent mine collapse in Sirvan.
Kamer also writes for Voice of America under the name Khajijan Farqin, the U.S. news agency told CBC News.
Kamer was released on Sunday, BBC Turkish said. She told German broadcaster WDR by phone after being freed that she was told she would face charges of having supported the outlawed Kurdistan Workers' Party, or PKK, through her reporting. Kamer said there was no evidence for that.
Turkey has not commented on why the reporter was taken into custody.
Earlier this month, 52-year-old French journalist Olivier Bertrand was detained in Gaziantep and subsequently deported.
Dozens of Turkish journalists have been detained and hundreds of media outlets shut down in Turkey as part of the government's post-coup clampdown on suspected dissidents.
Crystal Palace winger Wilfried Zaha has swapped his international allegiance from England to the Ivory Coast.
The 24-year-old Crystal Palace winger was an England Under-21 team regular before stepping up to the senior side and earning caps against Sweden, in November 2012, and Scotland, in August 2013.
However, because neither match was a competitive fixture, Zaha, who was born in Abidjan, has been able to commit to the Ivory Coast, the country's national football association announced on Sunday.
The Ivorian Football Federation (FIF) said in a statement: "The Ivorian-English attacking midfielder Wilfried Zaha has chosen to play for the Elephants, under the colours of the Ivory Coast, his country of origin. The player has sent, on this Sunday November 27 2016, correspondence to FIFA to change his national team.
"Approached several weeks ago by the Federation Ivoirienne de Football (FIF), Wilfried Zaha has made his choice this Sunday in London.
"In the presence of his father, of Augustin Sidy Diallo (president of the FIF) and Michel Dussuyer (Elephants coach), he signed at the bottom of the demand to change his sporting nationality addressed to FIFA.
"Born on November 10 in Abidjan, Wilfried Zaha grew up in England, the country for which he made two appearances in friendly matches. However, the Crystal Palace player remains eligible to play for the Ivory Coast."
Zaha, who moved to England as a child, joined the Palace academy aged 12 and had a short spell with Manchester United.
Palace manager Alan Pardew recently claimed Zaha would rather play for England if he was given the chance.
"'It's a situation that's been pushed forward probably by his agent or people around him. I think Wilf is hoping England come in for him," Pardew said on Friday.
"Personally, I think he warrants a call. Look at the numbers. The ball's not in Wilf's court, but in England's.
"I can understand his frustration. He's played with players who are picked at that level, and feels he deserves another chance."
